First Blog

Welcome to the first ever TACOPELAND blog! Its Christmas eve and I'm scrambling to get my stuff together to head off the the festivities. We've had an awesome weekend in Chicago with my family, who has traveled from almost all corners of the US to hang out and spend some time together. Karen and i will spend this evening with her family, starting off with the 4:00 mass at St. Paul's in Gurnee. We'll then go over to her folks house to enjoy a great prime rib dinner, followed by opening gifts and boozing

Tomorrow, we'll get up and head on out over to Rockford to see my family and spend Christmas day and the rest of the week with them. We always enjoy spending time with them and the kids always enjoy playing with Riley.

When we return, we have a rather convenient New Years eve over at Dan and Emily's house. They're good friends of ours who bought the exact same town house as Mine and Karen's, just in the next cul-de-sac over from us.

We'll see you all when we get back!
